How It's Made

Every Indigo's Curve shirt, sweatshirt and hoodie is made to order and printed on demand, just for you. Nothing is printed ahead of time and left sitting on a shelf. Here's what happens after you place your order and how to keep your new favorite looking good.

Printed just for you

When you order, our print partner prints your design straight onto the garment you picked, in your size and color. The ink soaks into the fabric, so the print feels soft and stays flexible instead of sitting on top like a thick sticker.

Because we only make what's ordered, we don't end up with piles of leftover stock in sizes and colors nobody wanted. It also lets us offer more designs and colors than a small family shop could ever keep on hand.

What it means for timing

Since each piece is made after you order, it takes a few business days to print and pack before it ships, plus the shipping time. You'll get a tracking email as soon as it's on the way. See our shipping policy for current timing and holiday order dates.

A faint square around the design?

Before printing, the shirt gets a light pre-treatment so the ink bonds to the fabric. Once in a while that leaves a faint square or shiny patch around the design. Don't worry. It comes out in the first wash.

Care tips

• Turn it inside out and wash in cold water with regular detergent. Skip the bleach.
• Tumble dry on low or hang to dry.
• If you iron, keep the iron off the print.
• Skip dry cleaning.

Our hats are embroidered instead of printed. To clean one, spot clean it with a damp cloth and let it air dry.
